Jamie’s environmental advocacy is anti-animal cruelty. Jamie knows how some people treat animals in a wrong way and she believe animals should be treated with love or at least in a proper manner. She is also promoting a communications campaign that teaches people to think twice in finding alternatives in our everyday lives to protect and help mother nature.

The Miss Earth was organized in 2001 to 2014 in the Philippines. The winner of the competition receives the title Miss Earth. The runners-up receive their title after the three other ancient elements: Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, Miss Earth Fire. The Miss Earth winners act as worldwide ambassadors for environmental and social issues. Pretty, young women draw attention to injustices in society and a variety of environmental issues and show great interest and commitment in the field of humanitarian aid and in the field of environmental protection. Beauty operates at Miss Earth as an end and not a means – according to the motto: “Beauties for a Cause”.
